The Placement Cell of KSRIET plays an important part by being a platform for companies and budding engineers for mutual advantage. The Cell believes that appropriate training is essential rather than raw talent. Trainings are provided right from day one to prepare students for the secure placements.

It provides training to develop a sense of professional responsibility, career skills, social and cultural awareness and set students on the path to leadership.

The K S R Institute for Engineering and Technology is another landmark of the Aarthi Educational & Charitable Trust which has the perquisite of sprawling education proportionally to the society. It has been founded in the year 2011 by the man of great insight, Thiru.R. Srinivasan. He is the younger son of Lion Dr.K.S.Rangasamy whose altruism enlightens the society. His constant dreams and endeavours erected the dome of knowledge for quenching the long unanswered quest among the blooming minds.

The embellishment of the college holds the new doctrine of teaching, will be ideal for students to kindle the dormant spirit towards learning. The college is an optimal place for pedagogical as well as ethical values. ABOUT THE TRUST

Aarthi Educational and Charitable Trust is one of the Philanthropic institutions in South India, has played a pioneering role in changing

the traditional ideas of charity and introducing the concept of philanthropy.

The Educational Trust is a registered charity established in 1997 by Thiru R. Srinivasan, B.B.M., MISTE (Managing Trustee) the younger son of Lion Dr. K.S. Rangasamy, MJF, an educationist, philanthropist and also the founder of KSR Educational Institutions, in the temple town of Tiruchengode.

The main purpose of the Trust is to raise standards in the education through student development and research programs.

Education – A golden key that opens up a whole new world of opportunity, yet millions of the meritorious underprivileged are deprived of the same, especially the children. The college has well-furnished classrooms that are well ventilated and replete with relevant facilities.

INTERNET FACILITIES

The college has merged with the information super highway by providing Internet facilities round the clock. Students and faculties enjoy unlimited Internet access with 8 M bps band width.

TRANSPORT FACILITIES

The college shuttles more than 114 free buses for the benefit of the students from the districts – Namakkal, Erode, Salem, Karur and Tirupur. It gives a platform for the rural students to get quality education.

HOSTEL FACILITIES

As hostels are homes away from homes, the KSRIET hostels provide an atmosphere that is conducive for both boys and girls separately. The team of Wardens and Tutors take great care in nurturing the students’ ability. Apart from it Modern kitchen equipment has been installed and the food is served in hygienic and sanitized conditions. Drinking Water purification using RO system facilitates supply of Purified water (Mineral Water) in all the coolers and in mess enables various modern facilities in our Premises include the following.

LIBRARY

The Library connects people and service to enrich knowledge towards living and working in a global environment. The library collection is computerized and the library uses a library management software package for easy search and management of the vast collection. Unique Smart Card system is availed for lending books and Entrance registration. Departments have their own library to cater to the instant reference needs of faculty members. NPTEL video and web courses are also available. It uses the state-of-the-art technology in its function

CONFERENCE HALLS

Fully air-conditioned conference rooms, mini air-conditioned auditoriums and five air conditioned Seminar halls are available. Each department is provided with a seminar hall for conducting recruitment programmers, interviews, personality development seminars, Association Meetings, etc. All the halls are provided with the latest Multimedia Projectors.

LANGUAGE LAB

Today, the ability to communicate effectively counts more for an employment. The Anna University has included Communication Skills as a part of the curriculum. In K S R College of Technology, a language lab is setup with the aim of offering effective training in improving the communication skills of the students. The Lab is used for conducting courses and programmers exclusively designed not only for the toppers but also for the average students.
